West Bengal bypolls : TMC won all four Assembly constituencies

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) won all four Assembly constituencies that went to bypolls in West Bengal on July 10, 2024.

In the Maniktala constituency in Kolkata, TMC candidate Supti Pande won by a margin of over 62,312 votes against the BJP candidate Mr. Chaubey is the president of All India Football Federation.

In Raiganj constituency, TMC’s Krishna Kalyani defeated BJP candidate Manas Kumar Ghosh by a margin of over 50,077 votes.

In Ranaghat-Dakshin, TMC’s Mukut Mani Adhikari defeated BJP’s Manoj Kumar Biswas by a margin of over 39,048 votes.

In Bagdah, TMC’s candidate Madhuparna Thakur defeated BJP candidate Binay Kumar Biswas by a margin of over 33,455 votes.

In 2021 Assembly polls the BJP had won three of these four seats.

The Trinamool Congress described the Assembly bypoll victories as the party’s massive success and said the people of Bengal have once again rejected the BJP after Lok Sabha Election 2024.

In Lok Sabha Elections 2024 TMC bagged 29 parliamentary seats and bagged 12 seats.
