Even after the independence of 77 years we are not getting rid of our oppressors.
Is there Mangal Pandey Cup or Khudiram Bose Cup or Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose football tournament somewhere in UK happens?
The Britishers had made a separate law for Indians and have made separate law for their own people.
Perter William Sutcliffe killed more than 12 people and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Harold Shipman killed more than 200 people and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
But khudiram Bose killed two people and he was hanged to death at the age of 18, if Britishers wanted they could have given him life imprisonment instead of death penalty because of his young age.
If Britishers would not have come and ruled India fraudulently then khudiram would not have killed any one of them.
Malwa also played a major role in the war of independence. During the Indian rebellion 1857 to 1858 , Henry Marion Durand served as a military commander of western Malwa. In sepoy mutiny or first war of independence millions of Indians were killed by Britishers, with certainty I can say that definitely Henry Marion Durand had gave order to kill the freedom fighters and those who dreamed of freedom but how many Indians were killed on his order I have no record, because there was hardly any Britisher who would not have oppressed the Indians. When there were Britishers in India all the Britishers in some way or the other committed oppression on the general people of India.
FOUNDER OF DURAND CUP:
Henry Mortimer Durand ,the foreign secretary of British India ,founder of prestigious Durand cup and the son of Henry Marion Durand.
Britishers surely started this tournament thinking that India will be ruled by us as long as there is sun and moon.
If the Britishers had known that they would be forced to leave India in 1947,they would never have started the Durand football cup, not even by mistake.
The Britishers had put a board in front of their club mentioning that dogs or Indians are not allowed maybe because of this reason the name of Henry Mortimer Durand is being taken forward with pride through this Durand cup every year.
The tournament which was started in the dependent India is also happening in the Independent India and Indian Army has been conducting this tournament every year ( just following the order of Ministry of Defence).
After so many difficulties we got rid of Britishers but we are not ready to give up their name.
British police killed a 12 year old child Baji Rout in Orissa, when he refused to ferry them across the Brahmani river on the night of 12 October 1938 at Nilakanthapur Ghat.
General Dyer ordered to shoot and killed 379 innocent unarmed people in Jallianwala bagh, if people think it was complete injustice then people should ask to change the name of Durand cup. This is not about changing the name of any Britisher from any tournament just want to tell that we have not forgotten the oppression of 200 years so soon.
Britishers tortured inhumanly a woman, Neera Arya and chopped her breasts to know the whereabouts of Subash chanrda Bose.Rights of the Indian sisters and daughters were openly abused by the Britishers and officially created brothels and named CHAKLAS.Britishers tortured and brutalized Indian women and threw them into sexual slavery.
Got independence after freedom struggle ,hence the contribution of our freedom fighters for this new and independent India is huge .Our present and future exist because of the past.
The soldiers of our country have chosen the path of sacrifice and the freedom fighters had chosen the path of sacrifice too, this is the biggest similarity between both.
If the name of ” Henry Mortimer Durand cup ” is changed to “Neera Arya cup” ,it will be a small slap on the face of the 200 years of atrocity that the Britishers committed on the people of India.
The Britishers had hurt Neera Arya ‘s femininity by chopping her breasts, if DURAND CUP ‘s name is changed to NEERA , it will further boost feminine strength.
AN APPEAL TO GOVERNMENT OF INDIA:
Appealing to Indian government either ask UK government to organize a football tournament every year in the name of Neera Arya / khudiram Bose / Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose or immediately change the name of Henry Mortimer Durand cup and name it on any freedom fighter or in the name of our first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
It is more important to immortalize the names of our freedom fighters or decorated Army Chief than to keep alive the name of any Britisher through a game.
The people of India proudly organize the Henry Mortimer Durand cup but even today if India was ruled by the Britishers then people would surely have done slavery and servitude to the Britishers, bitter truth.
