Metro Railway has been observing ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign from 14th September to 2nd October. Various programmes are being organised during this period as part of spreading awareness of Swachhata.
A drive for reducing plastic waste was undertaken today by Metro Railway Traffic Department at Jatin Das Park Metro station. Disposable water bottles were crushed in a Bottle Crusher Machine to spread the message of reducing plastic waste. Senior officers of Traffic & Security Departments participated in it.
It is to be noted that during this Swachhta Hi Seva campaign banners and posters are on display at all Metro stations and announcements are being made to make Metro commuters aware about the importance of cleanliness.
