The Director General of BSF Daljit Singh Chawdhary, visited Manipur to carry out comprehensive review of the Ops scenario and to take stock of the operational preparedness of the Force in the wake of recent escalation of violence in Manipur.
On September 28, 2024 the DG BSF was received by Ravi Gandhi, ADG BSF (Eastern Command) and Sanjay Kumar Misra, IG M&C Frontier at Imphal Airport.
Later he visited Moreh to review the operational preparedness of the Force and interacted with the commanders and troops deployed there and appreciated the role of BSF personnel.
During his visit to the Sub-Headquarters BSF CI (Ops) in Manipur Daljit Singh Chawdhary interacted with the Officers and troops through a Sainik Sammelan. DG BSF appreciated their relentless efforts and contribution in gearing up the security mechanism in the State of Manipur and motivated them to carry out their duties relentlessly and with utmost professionalism.
The DG BSF also discussed the prevailing security scenario with the Director General of Police and Chief Secretary of Manipur and senior officers of other sister agencies.
