Born and raised in Siliguri, Flying Officer Aditya Singh has always nurtured the dream of serving the nation through the Indian Armed Forces. He completed his schooling at Don Bosco School, Siliguri, and went on to pursue his bachelor’s degree from Salesian College, Siliguri. Driven by a deep passion for the uniformed services, he joined the National Cadet Corps (NCC) during his college years and qualified for the C certificate, laying the foundation for his journey into the defence forces.
Alongside his academic and military pursuits, Aditya has a strong creative side.
An accomplished guitarist, he was an integral part of music bands both in school and college. His love for storytelling and music added a unique dimension to his personality, balancing discipline with artistic expression.
His perseverance paid off when he secured recommendations for both the Officers Training Academy (OTA) and the Air Force Academy (AFA).He initially joined OTA Chennai but later chose to pursue his true calling with the Indian Air Force.
Today, he has been commissioned as a Flying Officer in the IAF—an achievement that not only marks a significant milestone in his life but also fills his family and hometown with immense pride. His unwavering dedication and relentless spirit have brought him one step closer to fulfilling his lifelong dream of serving the nation.
