AIUDF MLA Phani Talukdar resigns from AIUDF on Tuesday.
Talukdar sends his resignation letter to party supremo Badruddin Ajmal.
Earlier, Talukdar was elected from the Bhabanipur constituency of Assam.
Now total no of Six Assembly Seats is vacant in Assam.
According to a report, Talukdar may join BJP on Wednesday.
These seats are Mariani, Thowra, Majuli, Gossaigaon, Tamulpur and Bhabanipur. Gossaigaon and Tamulpur seats are currently vacant after both the MLAs lost their lives to the Covid-19.
