A new political journey has started TMC leader Sushmita Deb from West Bengal.
Former Silchar MP Sushmita Deb was elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from West Bengal,
BJP didn’t field any candidates against her.
Former All India Mahila Congress chief Sushmita Deb left Congress in August,
Sushmita’s father Lt Santosh Mohan Deb was one of the strongest politicians in Rajib Gandhi’s period.
She lost to the election in 2019 from the Silchar constituency.
BJP candidate Dr Rajdeep Roy defeated her by 81596 vote.
