Imphal West Deputy Commissioner, Th Kirankumar, has launched an interesting initiative to encourage COVID-19 vaccination.
The district administration is to hold a mega COVID-19 vaccination drive, cum bumper draw programme soon.
Scheduled at three centres in the district on Oct. 24, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7; “Get a shot, win a prize” is their slogan.
The First prize is a big-screen television set, Second prize is a mobile phone, Third prize is Blanket, and Ten more consolation prizes.
Anyone 18+ who is due for the first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be eligible for participation.
It may be mentioned that, The winners of the lucky draw will be decided at three centres of GM Hall, Polo Ground and Dharamshala in Imphal West district.
Imphal (W) has the highest population among all 16 districts in Manipur.
