The Assam Pradesh Congress Commitee General Secretary Apurba Kumar Bhattacharya on Monday said with media persons the role of Chief Minister of Assam in the Rajya Sabha elections is very unfortunate. Why did the Chief Minister who claims to be all powerful has to go to the house of a Congress MLA ? No Chief Minister had gone to such a shameful level before. There has been mokery of the spirit of Democracy under this power drunk Chief Minister.
