In Assam a high political drama stats from today morning. Voting of two Rajya Sabha seat started from 9 A.M today and concluded at 4P.M.
All 126 members of Assam Legislative Assembly casted their vote. BJP Pabitra Gogoi Margherita , UPPL candidate Rwngwra Narzary and Congress MP and sitting MP Ripun Bora contested in this election. The BJP has 63 MLA, AGP 9 , UPPL 6 and 3 BPF MLA also supported ruling party MLA .
BJP demanded Congress MLA Sashikanta Das extended support the ruling party candidate. BJP also demanded almost 6-7 opposition MLA also support ruling party candidates.
Before the suspense will be broken out Congress has suspended Siddique Ahmed, MLA South Karimganj for violating 3 Line Whip of the Party in today’s polls. INC MLA Siddeque Ahmed’s vote for Rajya Sabha election turns invalid after when Ahmed was writing “1” alphabeticaly instead of numerically.
