India celebrates the occasion of seventy five of independence this year and has initiated to hoist the tiranga across homes in all states of the nation. This is a major celebratory campaign for the journey so far.

Northeast has contribute immensely to the freedom struggle of our nation, and freedom fighter from this region of the country are remembered for the respective contribution towards achieving the same.
Meanwhile, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark 75th year of India’s independence.

Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. True that, bringing the flag home as a nation in 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building.
The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness on the Indian national flag. This is laudable.
Northeastern states are enthusiastic to be a part of the celebrations and NE India Broadcast extends warm tributes to the freedom fighters from this region for their valuable contribution in the said journey.
