BSF TAKES TO THE HOSPITAL AND SAVED LIFE OF A PERSON BITTEN BY SNAKE AND A PERSON SUFFERING FROM CHEST PAIN

First incident took place on 4th October’ 2022 at 0840 hrs, at Rajanagar, a village falling under 117 Battalion. Tapan Kumar Mandal of the village had gone to work in his farm. In the field, the said person was bitten by a poisonous snake, immediately, he informed to the BSF troops. The jawans without delay brought the person to the Border Out Post by speed boat of BSF, where after giving first aid, the condition of the patient is said to be fine.

Another incident happened on 4th October’ 2022 at 1500 hrs, in Shikarpur village falling under 86 Battalion. Ajay Sanal (62) of the village suddenly felt a severe pain in the chest, in a hurry, the family took him to the Border Out Post Shikarpur. The company commander of Shikarpur without delay sent the person to Karimpur hospital in an ambulance along with a nursing assistant. Where after the treatment, the condition of the patient is said to be fine.

The relatives of the patients expressed their gratitude towards BSF and said that if BSF had not helped at the right time then any untoward incident could have happened.

Spokesperson of South Bengal Frontier lauded his jawans for this work and stated that apart from preventing crime on the Border, BSF is there for the Border residents in every difficult time.
