As a part of Confidence Building Measures between border guarding forces of India and Bangladesh five member delegation of BGB officers led by Brig General Shamim Additional Director General, Region Commander, South West Region, Jessore paid courtesy visit to ICP Petrpole.
Dr Atul Fulzele, IPS, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier, along with other officers received the guests. Delegation witnessed Joint Retreat Ceremony at ICP Petrapole and exchanged plesantries.
Both border guarding forces are commited to stop all sorts of trans-border crimes and have evolved joint strategy and mechanism for effective border management. Besides other measues such visits instill faith and confidence among border population of both side.
