The Border Security Force (BSF) conducted a career coaching program for the youth of Border villages under 68 Battalion in the Border area of North 24 Parganas district. The program aims to provide coaching to the youths who are applying to join the Indian Armed Forces through the Agneepath scheme.

After 15 days of negotiations with the students, BSF decided to launch a 4-week coaching program for 25 students at the Border Out Post Magurkona. The program consists of physical training for 6 days in the morning and coaching for written examination on Saturday and Sunday respectively. An Assistant Commandant and the training team of the 68 Battalion are imparting the training to the students.

The scheme will be relaunched after a month to extend it further to all types of recruitments in all uniformed forces. The Border posts were identified for this program to benefit the students of the Border area.

The spokesperson of the South Bengal Frontier stated that the Border Security Force organizes various programs from time to time to raise awareness about the security forces for the youth along with guarding the international Border.

The Career Coaching Program for Border Youth with the initiative of BSF has been well received by the students and the community. The program will provide a valuable opportunity for the Border youths to realize their aspirations of serving the nation and joining the Indian Armed Forces.
