When a farmer namely Kalam, residents of Vill- Chakmathura approached the Company Commander of Border Out Post Sagarpara stating that his wife namely Sakera Bibi was bitten by a snake while they were working in agricultural field. The Company Commander without any delay sent a BSF ambulance along with a nursing assistant and evacuated her to Sadikhan Hospital Jalangi for better treatment. The patient’s condition is stated to be stable.
The husband of Sakera Bibi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Border Security Force and said that if the BSF had not helped at the right time, the snake venom would have spread all over the body of his wife, which could have caused serious untoward incident.
