Based on a reliable input regarding presence of weapons, Assam Rifles launched a Joint Operation with Manipur Police wherein 04 x Pistols and 01x.22 revolver (with six rounds) has been recovered from Pangei Nepali Basti Foothill of Marjing Hill range, Imphal East district of Manipur on 28 August 2023.
The seized weapons were handed over to Heingang Police Station.
