Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised “Distribution of Relief material including 20 Litre pressure cookers and sports items alongwith Career Counselling cum Awareness Campaign regarding SSC GD recruitment and admission in Sainik School” at Okshongbung Relief Camp, Moirang, Bishnupur District (Manipur) on 14th December.
The local people approached Assam Rifles for requirement of pressure cookers by to meet the daily requirement of relief camp and sports items for recreational activities. The career counseling session was attended by youth of relief camp. The interactive session enabled by the youth to understand the process of recruitment, various activities involved and solved their queries regarding the procedure. It is also important to note that Assam Rifles regularly conducts such programs and also train the youth to enable majority of them to participate in recruitment rallies for the better future of the youth of the society.
At Churachandpur, Assam Rifles reached out to the displaced persons and provided relief items and medicines at village Sangaikot on 13th December 2023.Relief items including winter clothing and essential medicines to the displaced persons who were affected due to ongoing communal violence in Manipur were distributed.
