Acting on specific intelligence of movement of war like stores in general area Siahatlangkawn in Siaha district of Mizoram, Assam Rifles established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) on 10 February.
The vigilant troops intercepted a vehicle & on carrying out search apprehended a Myanmar National who was found in possession of 100 Nos of UV-10R (Walkie Talkie Set with antenna) with Batteries and Charging sets.
The recovered stores and the apprehended individual have been handed over to Police.
