Troops of Trishakti Corps along with Civil Administration undertakes rescue of tourists stranded in North Sikkim.
Working under challenging weather & terrain conditions, army soldiers assisted Airtel & BSNL in restoration of mobile communication.
More than 115 tourists & locales have been provided with medical attention including a life saving emergency distress call of one 24 years old at Lachung suffering from High Altitude Pulmonary Oedema & Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
