Assam Rifles organised community interactions and distribution of essential medicines to locals of border villagers of Grihang & Kangpat Centre village in District Kamjong (Manipur) on 25 August 2024.
Demonstrating a deep commitment to community engagement and relationship-building, a series of events were organised by Assam Rifles at both the villages with initiatives aimed to strengthen bonds, promoting unity, and goodwill among the local population.
Around 450 men, women, and children participated in the series of events organized across both village locations.
Assam Rifles engaged with the local community in addressing various issues of interest, current and upcoming development projects under civic action programs and also provided medical care and distributed essential medicines to villagers, including elders, women, and children.
The event fostered an atmosphere of hospitality and created opportunities for further interaction.
The local villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the efforts of Assam Rifles, acknowledging the force’s commitment not only to their safety but also to their social and communal well-being.
