In its ongoing efforts to curb illegal infiltration and smuggling, BSF Meghalaya apprehended One illegal Bangladeshi national near the international border.
On October 3, 2024 a patrolling party from 04 Battalion BSF apprehended a Bangladeshi national attempting to infiltrate into India by crossing the international border.
The individual was identified as Md Amdadul Haque from the Narayanganj district of Bangladesh. During the apprehension, some Bangladeshi taka were recovered from his possession. The apprehended person was later handover to Pynursla Police station.
