KEEPING HUMAN VALUES PARAMOUNT, BSF TOOK THE PREGNANT WOMAN TO THE HOSPITAL ON TIME

Border Security Force troops are always ready to help the people living in the border area along with the security of the Indo-Bangladesh border. Presenting its example once again, the troops of Border Out Post Tilasan, 44 Battalion, district Malda took a pregnant woman to the hospital through an ambulance in Tilasan village, adjacent to the Indo-Bangladesh border, who was suffering from the unbearable pain of childbirth.

The incident took place on February 24 (morning) at 0325 hrs when 20-year-old pregnant woman Sampa Chaudhary, W/o- Rajesh Choudhary village Tilasan was moaning with labor pain. Unable to get the means to take her to the hospital, when the relatives of the woman informed the Post Commander of Border Out Post Tilasan, 44 Battalion. The post commander immediately sent the woman along with the nursing assistant from the BSF ambulance and admitted into the R N Rai Rural Bulbulchandi Hospital. Where after treatment, the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

The family members of the woman and the villagers thanked the BSF for their timely help. In this way, BSF once again proved that along with strict surveillance in security, BSF troops also play well to follow human values.
