Various programs are being organized to deepen the friendly relations with Bangladesh. India has always tried to treat its neighboring countries well and will continue to do so. India Border Guarding Force, BSF and Bangladesh Border Guarding Force, BGB have always had cordial and friendly relations. Together, both BSF and BGB are determined to completely eliminate any kind of smuggling and illegal acts on the Border. Both the forces maintain a cordial relationship with each other in any kind of odd situation.
The Amrit Mahotsav of freedom became a celebration
India is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence this year. Due to which the importance of this Maitree volleyball match increases even more. To commemorate this occasion, BSF South Bengal Frontier has organized a Maitree Vollyball match on 28 June, 2022 (Tuesday) in Border Out Post Ghojadanga, 153 Battalion, Sector Kolkata. The second match will be held on July 4, 2022 at the Border Out Post Gede, 54 Battalion.
Dr. Atul Fulzele, IPS, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier (BSF), inaugurated the match. A large number of spectators including Sh. Surjeet Singh Guleria, Deputy Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier and other high officials were present during the match.
From Bangladesh side Brigadier Omar Saadi, PSC, Col Mamunur Rashid, PSC, delegation of Bangladeshi journalists including 28 BGB members and 100 spectators witnessed this Vollyball match.
The match was inaugurated after a colorful program at around 11:30. In a 90 minute match in a cordial atmosphere, BGB team won both the games and ended the match
Finally Dr. Atul Fuljhele, IPS, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier BSF and Brigadier Omar Saadi, PSC, BGB concluded the ceremony with their speeches. The people of both the countries appreciated the Maitree Volleyball match and demanded to continue this type of program in future.
