With the aim of establishing the language, culture and literature of Assam in the International level Mukto Kabi Kantho International Forum presented the “Mukto Kabi Kantho Yuba Journalists Award,2022” to seven journalists from different parts of Assam on sunday at Asom Sahitya Sabha Bhawan, Guwahati.
The names of Journalists are Manoranjan Das from Digboi, Ranajyoti Neog of Ledo, Rashmirekha Saud Kalita of Dibrugarh, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam of Bongaigaon, Prabin Roy of Barpeta, Joydev Deka of Mangaldoi and Prabin Das of Tamulpur.
The event was moderated by eminent writer Kaveri Kachari Rajkonwar where many distinguished and resource persons of Assam graced the programme.
On this occasion eminent poet of Assam Mukul Patgiri will be given the “Mukto Kabi Kantho International Award 2022”.
Apart from this 66 different linguistic poet and poetess were given the “Kavi Sanmaan Award 2022” and 11 eminent poets were given the “Best Poetry Compilation Award 2022” said organising committee of Mukto Kabi Kantho International Forum.
