The Central Bureau of Communication, Guwahati, under The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has organised a 3-day Photo Exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 8 Years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan in the historic Baan Theatre, in Tezpur from 6th January to 8th January, 2023.
Tezpur MP Pallab Lochan Das inaugurated the exhibition. He visited the exhibition which displayed mo re than 40 panels on the Unsung heroes of the Northeast and also on the schemes and initiatives of the Central Government in the last 8 years.
Tezpur MLA Prithviraj Rabha, also visited the Photo Exhibition and applauded the activities carried out by CBC. Other dignitaries like Arijit Chakraborty, Deputy Director, CBC, Guwahati, Bhupen Sharma, eminent actor and teacher, Tezpur and Bhabananda Das, Vice Chairman, Baan Theatre, Tezpur were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
The Departmental artistes of Song and Drama Division under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Private Registered Troupe also presented various cultural performances in the inaugural ceremony.
Activities like quiz and art competitions among students and visitors are being held in the Photo Exhibition. The Exhibition will continue free of cost to the public till 8th January 2023.
