The Border Security Force deployed in India- Bangladesh border is not only guarding the International Boundary, but also taking care of the people living in border area. On 05/02/23, Mega Civic Action cum Public Outreach Programmes organised under aegis of SHQ BSF Krishnanagar and BSF Wives Welfare Association(BWWA) at bordering village Jalkar Mathurapur, Dist-Nadia. Various activities including Medical Check up, distribution of medicines, study material, blood donation, dog show, weapon display and cultural program conducted for the people.
The program inaugurated by President of BWWA SHQ BSF Krishnanagar alongwith DIG Krishnanagar and Commandant of 54 Bn.
Chief Medical Officer of Sector HQ Krishnanagar alongwith specialist doctors carried out medical checkups and distributed free medicines. Apart from this 36 personal of BSF and 06 civilian have volunteered donating blood for the betterment for society .
Mayna Halder, President of Jalkar Mathurapur development organization, thanked BSF and expressed heartfelt gratitude for organising programme by BSF for the welfare of People’s of Nadia.
DIG of Sector Krishnanagar, BSF in his speech stated that such programs are organised to have a better relation between the border populations and BSF. In his statement, he mentioned that children need to have a good education in order to become good citizens and he also emphasised on the importance of health.
