Based on credible intelligence of presence of weapons and war like stores, in Gwarok foothills area of Thoubal district, Manipur, a joint team of Asssm Rifles and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Manipur Police launched a search operation on 05 September 2023.
One Self Loading Rifle (SLR), two grenades and other war like stores were recovered in the vicinity of Eco-Tourism park in the Gwarok foothills.
