Career Counselling and General Awareness Program at Moirang, Bishnupur District:
Assam Rifles conducted a “Career Counselling and General Awareness to Join Armed Forces” program at Moirang, Bishnupur District. The initiative aimed to provide students with insights into opportunities within the Armed Forces, covering topics such as Sainik schools, NDA, TES exams, and the admission process. Regularly conducted, these programs inspire and motivate students to consider a career in the Armed Forces.
Security Meet at Henglep Village, Churachandpur District:
Recognizing the importance of fostering cooperation between security forces and local communities, Assam Rifles organized a Security Meet at Henglep village, Churachandpur District. Attended by 27 villagers, the discussion centered on collaboration and coordination with security forces. Villagers shared experiences, views, and challenges, emphasizing the need for peace. Concerns about connectivity during the rainy season were also addressed.
Tree Plantation Drive at Beheng Village, Churachandpur District:
In an effort to raise awareness about environmental concerns, Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), conducted a Tree Plantation Drive at Beheng village, Churachandpur District. Planting 20 saplings, the initiative aimed to educate villagers about ecological equilibrium and the sustainability of natural resources.
Friendly Volleyball Match at Songdoi, Churachandpur District:
Promoting camaraderie and community engagement, Assam Rifles organized a Friendly Volleyball Match between youth of Vill Songdoi and Assam Rifles troops. Held under the aegis of IGAR (South), the event addressed addiction awareness. The match highlighted teamwork and athletic prowess, emphasizing collaboration to overcome challenges. Spectators gained insights into the impact of addiction, emphasizing the power of collective efforts in building a healthier, more supportive community.
