PM Narendra Modi on Monday pays tribute firmer Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.
On a post X PM Modi said, ” Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s dedication and spirit of service to the country will be a source of inspiration during the ‘Amrit Kaal’ — the period until the centenary of India’s Independence in 2047.”

Atal Bihari Vajpayee served three times Prime Minister of India.
Under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee BJP from Government in 1996 (just 13 days), 1998 to 1999 and 1999 to 2004.
The Narendra Modi government declared in 2014 that Vajpayee’s birthday, 25 December, would be marked as Good Governance Day.
In 2015, he was conferred India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, by the president of India, Pranab Mukherjee.
