The Indian Navy at Kolkata has inducted Diving and Flood Relief Teams, along with equipments by special Navy aircraft on 24th and 25th May 2024.
Induction of Relief Materials for supporting people in distress in case of floods is also in progress, and would be completed before the Cyclone hits Kolkata.
All men, equipments and materials would be ready at INS Netaji Subhas for immediate deployment, as required in support of civil administration.
