In Tripura two BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman and Asish Kumar Saha resign from BJP

Report from news agency ANI in Tripura, Two BJP Rebel MLAs Sudip Roy Barman and Asish Kumar Saha tendered their resignation to the speaker of TLA Speaker Ratan Chakraborty today.

Both MLAof ruling party also resigned from the primary membership of the BJP. The two are now leaving for Delhi.

Report from Congress sources both former BJP MLA joins Congress on February 10 in New Delhi.

In 2017 Roy Barman joined BJP.

Earlier he was the health minister of Tripura in BJP led government that formed 2018. Later he was removed as the health minister in June 2019.

Earlier a few days ago Sudip Roy Barman told media persons he will not contest as a BJP candidate in the 2023 Tripura Assembly Election.

Sudip Roy Barman is the son of the former Chief Minister of Tripura Samir Ranjan Barman.

Earlier in 2021 another BJP MLA, Ashish Das, who had earlier resigned from the primary membership of BJP and joined TMC.
