Border area villages at Indo- Mayanmar border in Chandel district has limited awareness about joining armed forces as AGNIVEERS. Inspired and assisted by the Assam Rifles. a 21 year old resident of Joupi village of Chandel District, Manipur Mr Joseph khupgoulen joined the Armed Forces as an Agniveer. The individual was trained by the Security forces in a 3 month long pre recruitment training capsule held in Joupi between Oct-Dec 2023.
The remarkable achievement not only reflects the determination and resilience of the individual but also underscores the positive impact of the Assam Rifles Outreach initiative.
The individual along with his family members and the village authorities expressed his gratitude to the initiative of Assam Rifles in nurturing talent and providing avenues of advancement.
