Border Security Force Meghalaya Organizes ‘Seema Darshan Programme’ for Students

The Border Security Force Meghalaya Frontier, organized a captivating and informative “Seema Darshan Programme”, for students of the Faculty of Commerce, Government College Shillong,  Meghalaya on 26 March 2024.

The event, held at the Border Out Post – Barmanbari of 193 Bn BSF, offered a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable insights into the crucial role of the BSF in border management and national security. Accompanied by their teachers, the students were warmly greeted by Sh. Rajiv Kumar, Commandant of 193 Bn BSF, along with officers and jawans upon arrival at the BOP.

A special highlight of the program was a dedicated Weapon Exhibition showcasing the BSF’s arsenal. The display generated a sense of awe and admiration among the students, sparking their curiosity about the BSF’s capabilities and unwavering commitment to border security.

The faculty and students extend heartfelt thanks to the BSF for organizing the ‘Seema Darshan Programme.” They commend the Force for providing valuable insights into Border Haat Balat operations and facilitating an enriching exposure to the Border Belt area. The visit concluded on a high note, leaving them overwhelmed with satisfaction, marking their first exposure to the border belt area.
