Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in the fringe areas of Kangpokpi amd Bishnipur districts, Indian Army and Manipur Police launched a joint operation and recovered one 9 mm Carbine, one 9 mm Pistol, five Grenades, ammunition and war like stores.
The recovered items have been handed over to Manipur Police.
